Makiko Kuno, born Shōko Kuno, began her career as an actress and model in Japan. Initially using her birth name, she changed it to Makiko Kuno in katakana around 2005. She started modeling during high school and debuted as an actress in 1987. Notably, she was the image girl for JR East kiosks from 1988 to 1994. In 1994, Kuno released a photo collection titled 'Mitsu' and appeared nude in the original video 'XX: Utsukushiki Karyūdo'. She played Sunday in Chunsoft's Machi sound novel in 1998 and qualified as a sommelier the same year.
