Dame Helen Mirren, born Helen Lydia Mironoff on 26 July 1945, is an English actor with a career spanning over six decades. She is renowned for her versatile roles across stage, television, and film. Mirren's notable works include her Academy Award-winning portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in 'The Queen' (2006), for which she also won a British Academy Film Award. She has three consecutive wins for Best Actress at the British Academy Television Awards for her role as DCI Jane Tennison in 'Prime Suspect' (1991-2006). Other notable films include 'The Long Good Friday' (1980), 'Caligula' (1979), and 'Red' (2010) among many others. Mirren was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2003 for her services to drama.
