Olivia Nita, born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, started her acting career at age eleven when she was cast in 'A Lost Letter' at the National Theatre alongside prominent Romanian theatre figures. She later worked for Prima TV and appeared in various productions such as 'Daria, My Love', 'Hellhounds', and several theatrical performances while studying acting at the National University of Theatre and Film 'I.L.Caragiale'. After graduating with a BA Hons Degree in Acting from the UK, she returned to Romania to pursue an MA in Acting and study Ivanna Chubbuck Technique. Nita gained international recognition for her role in the Netflix series 'Comrade Detective' (2017), a gritty Cold War-era Romanian police procedural parody.
