Rooney Mara (born Patricia Rooney Mara on April 17, 1985) is an American actress known for her roles in films like 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' and 'The Social Network'. She gained significant recognition for portraying Lisbeth Salander in 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series. Mara made her acting debut in 2005 and has since appeared in various notable productions. Story
