Full Biography

Margaret Whitton (November 30, 1950 - December 4, 2016) was an American actress born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her acting career on stage in 1973, debuting on Broadway in 'Steaming' in 1982. Between 1986 and 1993, Whitton appeared in several films including 'Major League' (1989), its sequel 'Major League II', and 'The Secret of My Success' (1987). She also had roles in 'The Best of Times' (1986) and 'The Man Without a Face' (1993). After her film work, she returned to the stage, appearing on Broadway in 'And the Apple Doesn't Fall...' (1995) and 'Marlene' (1999). Whitton is currently the president of independent film producer Tashtego Films.
