Angeliki Papoulia, born in Athens, Greece, graduated from Athens University and 'Empros' Theatre Drama School. She speaks English and French, and has acted in films like 'Dogtooth', 'Alps', 'The Lobster', and 'To thavma tis thalassas ton Sargasson'. For her role in 'Dogtooth', she won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Actress at the Sarajevo Film Festival 2009. She co-founded the blitz theatre group, writing, directing, and acting in their performances across Europe. Recently, she has been co-directing theatre performances with Christos Passalis.

Mary Tsoni (June 25, 1987 - May 8, 2017) was a Greek actress and singer known for her roles in 'Evil' (2005), 'Dogtooth' (2009), and 'Evil: In the Time of Heroes' (2009). She won Best Actress at the Sarajevo Film Festival for 'Dogtooth', which was Oscar-nominated. Born in Athens, Tsoni also led a punk band called Mary and The Boy and worked as a make-up artist before acting.

Story

Three adult siblings live isolated in a villa under their parents' control. The parents have manipulated them into believing that they are still children and have taught them false information about the world using instructional cassette tapes. One day, Christina, a security guard, enters their lives and begins to challenge their reality and provoke feelings of temptation. This new influence threatens years of indoctrination by their parents.
