Story
In New Jersey during 1978-79, the Nearing family suffers the loss of Rose Nearing, leaving Henry, the youngest son, grieving along with his father and older brother who turn to alcohol and drug abuse respectively. Amidst this turmoil, Henry develops a crush on Grace, the high school senior beauty, despite her having a steady boyfriend. Unbeknownst to him, Merna, his childhood friend, harbors sincere feelings for him. Throughout his pursuit of Grace, Henry fails to notice Merna's affection and the manipulative nature of Grace's interest in him.
