Full Biography

Barbora Bobuľová, born April 29, 1974 in Martin, Slovakia, is a prominent Slovak actress who trained at the National Drama Academy in Bratislava before moving to Italy in 1995. She began her film career with 'The Prince von Homburg' (1996), which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival. Bobuľová has won multiple Best Actress awards, including at David di Donatello, Ciak d'Oro, and Flaiano Film Festival, for her role in 'Cuore Sacro' (2005). Her films include 'Il siero della vanità', 'Check and Mate', 'Mirka', 'Poor Liza', 'That’s It', and 'Green Ashes'. She starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie 'In Love and War', and played alongside Shirley MacLaine in her English-language debut, 'Coco Chanel' (2008).
