Joana Preiss, born on May 22, 1972, is a French actress, director, singer, and performer. She has worked with prominent filmmakers like Christophe Honoré, Olivier Assayas, Nobuhiro Suwa, and Pia Marais. Additionally, she has collaborated with artists such as Nan Goldin, Ugo Rondinone, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, and Céleste Boursier-Mougenot in various projects. Trained in classical singing and contemporary music, Preiss performs regularly in concerts and founded the duo White Tahina. In 2011, she directed her first film, 'Sibérie'. Notably, she starred in the movie 'Mauvaise fille' (2012), based on Justine Levy's bestseller, playing Louise, a woman navigating life changes amidst family crisis.
