Discovered at age 14 by the Eileen Ford Agency in New York City, she modeled for Vogue and Young Miss before her acting debut in Woody Allen's 'Stardust Memories' (1980). Gibb gained prominence as Susan 'Suzi' Martin Wyatt Carter on the soap opera 'Search for Tomorrow' (1981-1983) and as a regular cast member in 'Fame' (TV series, 1982-1985). She played significant roles in films like 'Salvador' (1986), TV movies such as 'The Karen Carpenter Story' (1989), and had a lead role in the short-lived series 'Deadly Games' (1995). She has three children.
