Geschichte
Wolyn follows Zosia, a young Polish girl from the village of Łuck in eastern Poland (then known as Wolyn). Despite her love for a Ukrainian boy from the same village, she is forced into marrying a wealthy widower due to financial pressures. Soon after, World War II begins and ethnic tensions between Poles and Ukrainians escalate. Amidst this chaos, Zosia struggles to survive.
