Thursday begins with Nick, a former Los Angeles drug dealer, now living in Houston as a married architect. One late Monday night, he's at a convenience store with his old partners Dallas and Billy Hill. A conflict erupts between Nick and the cashier, leading to Dallas shooting him. They try to cover up the crime but are forced to shoot a police officer who arrives on the scene. The film then jumps to Texas where Nick is trying to start anew. His past catches up with him when his old partner unexpectedly shows up with heroin and gangster business, attracting violent unsavory characters.
