Andrew returns to his hometown after a long absence to claim an old inheritance left by his father: a semi-ruined house that's about to be declared a historic monument. However, his plans are complicated when his brother Ramon also wants to buy the house. Soldados de plomo is a Spanish drama film directed by José Sacristán and released in 1983. The movie centers around Andrew, who returns to his hometown after being away for a long time. His father was previously part of the military high society but abandoned his wife to be with Andrew's mother, a former cupletista singer from the second row. The reason for Andrew's return is to claim an inheritance left by his father, which is a semi-ruined house that's about to be declared a historic monument.
