Mimma, an innocent country girl from the suburbs of Rome, reluctantly enters the sex trade in the 1950s to financially support her boyfriend. Renamed 'Paprika' by Madame Colette who runs a brothel, Mimma finds herself enjoying her new life despite its initial reluctance.
