Dr. Marc Lacroix, a psychiatrist specializing in brain functions, becomes obsessed with finding the link between mind and spirit. He secretly builds a machine to exchange minds between humans. He selects Zyto, a psychotic killer, for his experiment, hoping to help the mentally ill recover while experiencing their madness himself.
