King Kong (1976) is a fantasy horror film directed by John Guillermin and stars Jeff Bridges as Jack Prescott and Jessica Lange as Dwan. It is a remake of the classic 1933 film King Kong. The movie explores themes of exploitation, greed, and man's hubris in attempting to control nature. Despite being criticized upon its release for its dark tone and graphic violence compared to the original, it has since gained a cult following.
