Zusammenfassung
Hidden Face (2024), directed by Kim Dae-woo, is a tense psychological thriller that explores themes of obsession, betrayal, and the destructive power of secrets. A remake of an earlier film, it centers around Sung-jin, a conductor, and his fiancée Su-yeon, a cellist in his orchestra. When Su-yeon vanishes without a trace, Sung-jin begins an affair with Mi-ju, her replacement. As their relationship deepens, they become increasingly aware of being watched, not knowing that the true culprit is Su-yeon herself, trapped and watching from afar. The film navigates the complex dynamics between love, desire, and jealousy within the confines of a hidden space, building towards an unsettling climax.
