Story
In 1930s London, Madeleine and Dinah are sisters who become entangled in a complex web of love and betrayal. Madeleine marries Rickie Masters, an English businessman, but Rickie becomes increasingly attracted to Dinah, leading them into a secret affair. When Dinah becomes pregnant, they decide not to disrupt Rickie's marriage to Madeleine. However, when Rickie is involved in a car accident during a 'business trip' to southern France, Madeleine reveals she knew about the affair and Dinah's pregnancy all along.
