Zusammenfassung
Ecologia del delitto (1971), also known internationally as 'A Hatchet for the Honeymoon', is an Italian horror-thriller film directed by Mario Bava. The movie is a blend of giallo and slasher genres, characteristic of Bava's distinctive style in films like 'Blood and Black Lace' and 'Bay of Blood'. Set against the backdrop of a coastal resort town during summer, it explores themes of sexuality, obsession, and revenge through its intricate plot involving a series of brutal murders. Although not as renowned as some of Bava's other works, Ecologia del delitto offers a gripping narrative with atmospheric cinematography and suspenseful tension.
