Dr. Travis 'Dr. T.' Sullivan is a successful Dallas gynecologist whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel when his wife, Kate, is hospitalized after suffering a nervous breakdown. Dr. T's eldest daughter Dee Dee is secretly in love with Marilyn, the maid of honor at her upcoming wedding. His youngest daughter Connie is obsessed with conspiracy theories and has her own agenda for everything. Carolyn, Dr. T's secretary, harbors romantic feelings for him which are not reciprocated. Dr. T's sister-in-law Peggy interferes in every situation she encounters, while Bree, a golf instructor, becomes the only woman who offers him genuine support and comfort.
