Geschichte
Louisa arrives at her wealthy mother Susannah's villa for a visit. Their relationship has been strained since Susannah seduced Louisa's boyfriend Tim years ago, leading to his eventual heartbreak and death. Susannah's much younger husband, Dr. Paolo, an adulterous Latino Lothario, becomes attracted to Louisa, and they begin an affair. When Susannah discovers this, it drives a wedge between her and Paolo. Susannah dies from an overdose of medication typically prescribed by Paolo, leading the police to suspect him of murder. Louisa and Rita, Tim's sister and Louisa's best friend, decide to investigate the crime themselves.
