Geschichte
In the small coastal town of Potters Bluff, residents begin dying inexplicably after suffering severe burns. The local coroner, Dan Gillis (James Farentino), initially attributes the deaths to an accident involving a lighthouse fire. However, as more bodies turn up with identical injuries, he starts suspecting foul play. Gillis teams up with newspaper reporter William greed (Lisa Blount) to uncover the truth behind these bizarre murders. They discover that the townspeople are involved in a cult-like practice of reanimating the dead using a formula derived from the blood of a local witch. The resurrected victims, however, return as violent, burning zombies who attack and kill the living, causing an escalation of deaths in Potters Bluff.
