After watching their respective partners die at the hands of a common enemy, a New Orleans detective, Harry 'Hurricane' Shannon (Sylvester Stallone), and a hitman named Jimmy Bobo (Jason Momoa) form an uneasy alliance to seek revenge. Bobo's girlfriend was killed by the same mastermind behind the deaths of Shannon's partner, Lieutenant Washington, and Shannon's son. The two join forces against their enemy, a ruthless mercenary known as Thomas Kane (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje).
