Story

After a car accident leaves Kaylie in a coma for months, her doctors attempt an experimental procedure to stimulate her brain using neural patterns from a recently deceased woman. The procedure succeeds in waking Kaylie up, but she soon begins experiencing vivid hallucinations that she believes are memories of the donor's murder at the hands of an unknown assailant. Teaming up with her husband and mother, Kaylie tries to unravel the mystery behind the donor's death while also navigating the physical challenges of recovery.

Summary

BrainWaves (1982) is a horror-thriller directed by Ulli Lommel that explores themes of identity, memory transfer, and survival.
