On New Year's Eve in London, four strangers independently decide to end their lives by jumping off a high-rise known as Topper's Tower. These individuals are Martin, a disgraced TV presenter; Maureen, an isolated single mother; Jess, a foul-mouthed teen; and JJ, an American musician. Coincidentally, they all meet on the roof and decide to call off their plans for six weeks after forming a bond. They agree to meet regularly at Topper's Tower, trying to find reasons to live until Valentine's Day. As the 'Topper House Four,' they become media sensations, drawing paparazzi attention while attempting to navigate their personal issues and form an unconventional family.
